ChainGuardians is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Oasys and Famitsu to bring to life Oassy, a unique evolving digital collectible. Oassy is the first collectible of its kind in the ecosystem — minted on Chain Verse, users can evolve Oassy exclusively through ChainGunnies gameplay!
As part of this initiative, Oassy & ChainGunnies were recently featured in Digital Famitsu, a sister publication to Weekly Famitsu magazine, Japan’s largest gaming magazine publication! This past weekend, a pop-up booth at an event sponsored by Oasys and Famitsu created an opportunity for users to claim Oassy and play ChainGunnies live. This collaboration brings ChainGunnies and the wider ChainGuardians ecosystem to the attention of a broader audience than ever before!
Oassy — Collectibles Evolved!
Oassy is a digital collectible designed to evolve in response to certain achievements attained in ChainGunnies, the Bunny-themed Survival Horror FPS.
Claiming Oassy is easy — just visit the Oassy claim site! Note that there is a toggle for Japanese / English in the upper right corner of the page for convenience in navigating the process. Users will have until May 17th to claim their free Oassy!
Users can hold more than one Oassy, but only the token held with the lowest token ID will evolve through gameplay.
To evolve your Oassy, first visit the ChainGunnies website and download the most recent version of the game (8.0.1), which includes a new free-to-play game mode through level 4. From there you may complete the evolution challenge via ChainGunnies single-player mode in the following stages:
- Collect one Oassy poster — silver evolution
- Collect two additional Oassy posters — gold evolution
- Survive five rounds (must complete previous steps first) — evolved artwork, holographic silver evolution
- Find the unique poster deep within the game (must complete previous steps first) — ultimate artwork, holographic gold evolution
Posters can be found throughout the ChainGunnies map — once you have located a poster, simply approach the poster and interact with it to claim!
Your Oassy collectible may be viewed on tofuNFT under my NFTS available through the icon at the top right corner of the page. While the evolutions should happen quickly, a metadata refresh may be required to see the results. Don’t forget to take a look after each achievement to see each stage on the way to Oassy’s final form!
To continue playing ChainGunnies beyond level 4, you will need to use these links to obtain one of the following:
- ChainBunny (Survival mode)
- Zombunny (Survival and Battle Royale modes — includes exclusive weapon drop)
- Blue Pill (free claim — Survival mode)
- Red Pill (Survival and Battle Royale modes)
