Zombunnies Arrive this Halloween

Weaponized F.U.D. gas has been released into the Buntopian environment due to a particularly unfortunate mishap Tangerine had on his way to indulge in some otherwise mundane mischief, and all ChainBunnies appear to be susceptible. Holders of ChainBunnies NFTs everywhere are faced with a difficult choice.
Should they wish to turn their ChainBunnies to the dark side, Bunny holders have the option to burn two of their precious Bunnies, in the process creating a vile abomination known as a Zombunny! While the monster-generating mechanics of this process are somewhat hazy at this time, it appears clear that the results will be irreversible and horrifying to the highest degree.
So… wen Zombunnies?
Though ChainBunnies have caused a fair bit of trouble in their time, their antics have until now been limited to relatively harmless hijinks. In their evolved form, however, the zombunified monstrosities are motivated by nothing more than the possibility of accessing fresh brains with a bloodlust that surpasses all reason.
With the temperature rising due to the flammable F.U.D. gas now pervading Buntopia, the time is fast approaching to sacrifice your bunnies to strengthen the horde:

The maximum possible supply is 3000 Zombunnies — a combination of 1026 possible Zombunnies from burning existing ChainBunnies and 1974 total Zombunnies available for direct purchase in special minting events.
ChainBunnies holders will be able to burn the bunnies they hold into Zombunnies — going live on November 7th, 2022 at 4:00 PM UTC.
If not all Zombunnies are minted — a CGDAO proposal may be submitted to re-open minting through direct purchase, or via ChainBunnies burning.
