What happened during the last months?
Our team at Qwellcode has been focused on building some new applications to be hosted on Decentraland in addition to designing and developing our very own blockchain-based strategy RPG. Just a few weeks ago, we finished a proper WebGL/Web3 prototype and demoed it to the Decentraland team during ETHBuenosAires.
Chainbreakers is set in Ancient Greece, during the reign of a cruel government. Players enter the world and are tasked with supporting the rebellion. Gameplay elements include gathering suppressed slaves and integrate them into your rebel squad to lean against the tyrannic system, claiming items and loot, and forging partnerships with other rebels to embark on the most dangerous challenges in the realm.
After talking about our own ideas and plans, we decided to strengthen our partnership by making Chainbreakers a Decentraland launch title. Back in Germany, we started migrating the game client to the Decentraland SDK. Our team is now preparing the presale while working toward the first native Decentraland version.
