We’re bringing you thrilling updates from the world of the ChainGuardians universe. In this monthly recap, we’ll be covering the latest developments that have occurred in our world of blockchain superheroes and give you a sneak peek into the future.
For the newcomers, ChainGuardians is a turn-based Web3 role-playing game where players build a team of blockchain superheroes to fight against the Gatekeepers and participate in PVP, raid boss battles, and tournaments for on-chain rewards. Let’s take a look at what we’ve achieved in February and what we have in store over the coming weeks.
We expanded our marketing team through our partnership with GD10 Capital, whose marketing subsidiary has a track record of building Web3 communities for some big names like Cryowar.com and CrossTheAges.com. With this new addition, we’re ready to bring our A-game to all critical points of communication, starting with this monthly update.

First up, Game Developments
The Return of ChainGuardians
We released the new version of ChainGuardians and saw players more than triple upon its release! This new version features redesigned gameplay with thrilling new modes like “ChainGauntlet”, new characters, and epic raid bosses that will leave you breathless. The all-new achievement system makes our game even more addictive. You can now:
- Increase your chances of victory by using your rewards
- Engage in PVP for quick matches or matchmaking if you’re playing with friends
- View team rankings on our leaderboard
- Battle a Raid Boss and earn in-game currency and crafting rewards.
- Collect daily lieutenants, build your first team and mint on-chain hero cards
- Finally, communicate with your team using our new chat system

ChainGuardians x ApeSwap
We also announced the launch of our Treasury Bill Campaign with ApeSwap. This partnership gives our players the opportunity to exchange $CGG/$USDC LP tokens for an NFT that returns $USDC and cTokens, offering a high-reward DeFi opportunity to $CGG holders, as well as exposing a wider audience to the world of ChainGuardians superheroes through a brand new beast of a character!
Enter ApeX, the new ChainGuardians superhero NFT dedicated to defending the chain on behalf of ApeSwap.
ApeX cTokens obtained through the treasury bill campaign will be redeemable at the usual rate of 1000 cTokens: 1 NFT in the near future. While there will be further opportunities in the future, participation in the ChainGuardians x ApeSwap Treasury Bill campaign provides the only way for the community to get their hands on the cTokens for this unique character for the time being, so don’t miss out!

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming over the next few weeks
The launch of ChainGuantlet Season 1: Dawn of the Guardians
A game where players can use earned FIAT to enter battles, climb leaderboards, and assemble a dream team of 5 characters. Battles are asynchronous, allowing players to attack opponents whether they are online or not. The best rewards are reserved for players with CG NFTs, and rewards are given for the number of matches played and leaderboard placement.
Mainline tournaments, with their own lore, will occur every 6 weeks, with unique rewards announced beforehand. Stay tuned for more updates on these rewards.
A new Guardian arrives
Finally, we are excited to introduce our newest Guardian, Nakano Uta, who is set to take centre stage as a main character. This fierce Guardian will be joining the ranks of the ChainGuardians soon.
Uta’s full story will be revealed as “Dawn of the Guardians” unfolds in the coming weeks!
