If you’re new here, ChainGuardians is a Web3 turn-based RPG where you build a team of blockchain heroes to take on the Gatekeepers. Jump into PVP battles, tackle raid bosses, and compete in tournaments to score some on-chain rewards. Now, let’s dive into the highlights from April and see what went down this month!

First up, Game Developments
Nakano Uta is here!
Our newest guardian to join the ranks is the fearless nightingale Nakano Uta. Fueled by the grief of losing her father and the destruction of her village, she fights against the Red Enforcers, unleashing chaos and confusion, armed with a katana and two OAS drones.
We held an amazing competition to celebrate the launch of this awesome character with a Dutch auction throughout March and April in our Discord server. Massive congratulations to the winner!
‘Dawn of the Guardians’ Launch
The first season of the Chain Gauntlet: Dawn of the Guardians is finally underway as of the 12th of April as a high-stakes in-game competition. A rare pink Nakano Uta NFT is one of the top prizes in ChainGuantlet. Players will receive rewards for being among the top 50 on the leaderboard and for how many bouts they participate in. Who will emerge victorious?
Chainarena 1.3 Beta
We’re proud to announce that the most up-to-date Chainarena beta version is now available on Android and Apple devices. The latest version has been released with a number of upgrades & also a brand new leaderboard competition with $$$ prizes for top players so make sure you head to whichever app store required to get playing!
ChainGuardians Royale
We’re working on a battle royale game with all your favourite Guardians duking it out in a high-octane action environment, keep an eye out for this!
Remember, the team releases a Chain Guardians dev update every Tuesday in our discord server, with full patch notes run down. You can request what they want to see next after reading the update in our discord, so make sure you join to get your voice heard!

An Easter Celebration: Mixie’s Egg Hunt
We hid 5 easter eggs around the website this Easter and players had to find them to unlock a special rage NFT. Each egg held a clue that led to the next one, putting your detective skills to the test. After successfully completing Mixie’s Egg Hunt, players could earn another reward by sharing the campaign on social media. Sharing the campaign earned players an exclusive Uta Nakano artwork NFT, providing a beautiful and unique digital image that can be stored in a blockchain wallet.
ChainGunnies leaderboard Competition
We held a ChainGunnies leaderboard giveaway with the top players coming away with a Zombunny NFT. The top players grinding out the game pulled out the stops, thank you to everyone who took part. Congratulations to the winner David P!
New Tokenomics
$CGG, our on-chain coin launches on the MEXC exchange in April, so keep your eyes and ears open. This will open up $CGG to an even bigger audience, giving it more utility and value as a result.
