Chainode Tech joins Avalanche Mainnet as Validator
Zug — Switzerland, 22 September 2020 — Avalanche Mainnet is LIVE and we are happy to share that Chainode Tech joined the Mainnet as a Validator! This means that from now on, the Avalanche community is able to stake their AVA tokens, contributing at the same time to the security of the AVA Network, and Chainode Tech is all set to accept delegations!
What is Avalanche?
Avalanche is an extremely ambitious, fast, scalable and secure project that has as a main objective building the Internet of Finance: decentralized applications, new financial primitives and interoperable blockchains. Enabling users to create both public and private blockchains, the platform can accommodate thousands to millions of participants and offers, at the same time, the choice for flexibility and customization to its end users.
Through its infrastructure and by design, AVA introduces new standards into the blockchain ecosystem, particularly by being a heterogeneous network of many blockchains and validator sets, unlike the networks that we have been used with until now.
Chainode Tech x Avalanche
Whenever possible, we try to join the networks as a Validator from their early Testnet phases not only in order to support them, but also to get familiarized with the Network itself and bring an active contribution to the successful launch of the Mainnet. This was exactly the case with Avalanche, and by doing so we joined over 900 validator nodes that actively participated in the consensus and block creation in less than a week after the AVA Testnet launch, something that rarely happens in such early Testnet phases.
Chainode Tech joined the incentivized Denali Testnet back in Mai 2020, and successfully completed all 3 Testnet Challenges.

We are here for the long run and we believe that the journey as an Avalanche Validator is a marathon. Therefore, we did our thorough analysis and invested in an infrastructure that can sustain a professional grade validator service and secure the network over a long period of time.
As a community focused Validator, we selected the fees as fair to the delegators as possible. We would like to kindly remind our staking crew that the fee should be seen as an investment paid to the Validators, as it is what makes this professional infrastructure and secure node set-up possible.
