ICON Ecosystem — New logo and brand positioning
Zug, Switzerland, 28 July 2020 — Our team is happy to share that we have been recently working with the talented Berlin based designer Ramin Nasibov for a complete redesign of the ICON Ecosystem logo!
We decided to go for a more modern and minimalist design that would remind of both the original shape and color of the ICON Network logo. Through its shape, the new logo suggests the ideas of blockchain, connection, ecosystem and tech.
Starting with the original color of the ICON Network logo on the bottom left, we decided to use a color gradient that would suggest the idea of ecosystem complexity & the fact that a big variety of tools & DApps can be built on top of ICON Network.
Together with the launch of the new logo, we would like to further announce the following:
As many of the long-term followers of ICON Network and Chainode Tech know, we were the first to launch a weekly round-up of the most important news around the ICON Ecosystem. For past posts, please visit the #ICONweekly thread on Twitter. We took a 1 month break through the month of July, but starting with August we will share the #ICONweekly post in a simple, easy to digest manner, every Friday.
2. We will create visuals for the official ICON Newsletters
Every user has his/her own preferred way of consuming information. Through creating a visual with the most important news from the ICON Newsletters, we make sure that the information is delivered to a broader audience (Twitter and Telegram following of the ICON Ecosystem identity) and that community members will have access to key points initially shared by the official ICON team, with the option to read the entire newsletter if it strikes their interest.
3. Redesign of the iconecosystem.io website
The idea behind the redesign of the ICON Ecosystem logo actually came from the initiative of redesigning the whole iconecosystem.io website created by Chainode Tech, which acts as an aggregator of all the tools and DApps built on top of ICON Network. For anyone interested in a breakdown of our plan, please visit our submission for the P-Rep Delegation Pilot Program proposal, that we shared on the ICON Forum. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the project and our current position in the P-Rep top, thus a low budget, the whole process will take a bit longer than initially planned.
