Month in Review by Chainode Tech — March 2022
Switzerland, 4th April 2022 — The month of March is over and besides being thrilled about the upcoming spring we are also excited to share with you what we’re been up to during the last month! So let’s jump right into it!
Solana (SOL)
As many of you already know, we joined Solana as a Validator since the early stages of Testnet and we have been active ever since, including participating at the Mainnet Genesis. As we want to make the staking process as easy as it can be for our delegators, we prepared thorough staking guides for staking SOL using both Solflare and Phantom wallets. Also, we detailed the staking process for both options: using a Software / Hardware wallet. We are happy to share again the SOL Staking Guide Package below:

Agoric (BLD)
Agoric is another project that we joined since the initial Testnet phases and we are excited to share that our Chainode Tech Validator is ready to receive BLD delegations on Mainnet with a fee as low as 4%! The Agoric token sale took place on CoinList during January 2022 and it successfully managed to raise $50M USD. The tokens from the public sale were recently distributed across the wallets that participated in the sale and despite the fact that the tokens are still locked, they can be staked in order to generate unlocked staking rewards! 💰

Akash Network (AKT)
Also on the topic of Governance, earlier this month we participated in the Akash Governance Prop. #17 for which we have voted Yes in order to reduce the governance voting period from 2 weeks to 1 week. This makes sense considering that the network matures and it streamlines the whole process.

Celestia
Celestia represents a pluggable consensus and modular data availability layer that allows for deployment of decentralized blockchains without the overhead of bootstrapping a new consensus network. This means the execution layer can easily be run on top of Celestia, providing a novel solution for building sovereign decentralized applications. We are excited to share that we operate a Validator on the Celestia devnet and we plan to contribute and support the project’s next growth phases.
