Chainparency: Product Update
Last year’s release of GoTrace 2.0 was a major product milestone for us. Since that time, we’ve continued to further develop the GoTrace platform based on the latest priorities, feedback, and evolving needs of industry and customers. Today, GoTrace is the most comprehensive yet flexible, versatile, and accessible supply chain data and land management platform in the market. This update summarizes some of our latest features, which we think you’ll love!
GoTrace: Application Updates & New Features
USER: The GoTrace USER application makes it easy to define and onboard all key product value chain stakeholders, internal and external, onto one digital platform.
GoTrace now includes TEN out-of-the-box user types to include our newly added profile: “Supplier”. This new user profile represents the specific external individuals and organizations selling you goods and raw materials. The Supplier user profile is restricted — suppliers have a limited view in the GoTrace platform, and can only see and work with owned or assigned geo-fenced locations, are only able to complete assigned digital forms, and can only engage with specific user profiles.
LOCATION: The GoTrace LOCATION application enables users to easily and quickly define key geographic locations in a supply chain. The latest release of GoTrace now enables FOUR ways for select User profiles to define location polygons (all to six decimals):
1. Direct input of latitude/ longitude coordinates
2. Manually draw a location polygon
3. Upload a shapefile, i.e. KML,
4. Auto-pull parcel polygon coordinates based on lat/long data
GoTrace makes it incredibly easy to geo-fence and define key location/ tracts and origination coordinates in any supply chain globally.
FORMS:
Our FORMS application empowers users to quickly develop, generate, and configure essential digital forms, which are needed for a multitude of supply chain operations and data management needs. With our latest GoTrace release, you can now invite any supplier to complete customizable web-based digital form(s), which can be uniquely linked to a geo-fenced location or tract of land.
In forestry, this substantially streamlines data collection and land management workflows; and helps to ensure processes are done in accordance with regulatory compliance, sustainability, and responsible forestry stewardship practices.
USERS (SUPPLIER) + LOCATION + FORMS:
Bringing it all together, the GoTrace platform via multiple applications are able to substantially digitally streamline workflows and operations to include procurement and supplier approval/rejection processes. We understand how difficult it is to coordinate with numerous suppliers and to manage and evaluate robust product- and location-related datasets across disparate platforms. GoTrace, accessible via a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device (Android or iOS), solves all of this by bringing together all parties and workflows onto one highly robust, flexible, secure, and scalable digital platform powered by blockchain technology.
Supplier Approval/Rejection Processes:
With GoTrace, suppliers are easily onboarded to submit new locations, complete digital forms, and upload product- and tract-related data for approval. Suppliers and administrators engage in an iterative reject/approve diligence process until all requirements, if possible, are met. Locations transition from a “pending” to “approved” status once all the information is successfully received/validated and formal approvals are secured.
