Quarterly Update (Q2-Q3 2024)
What’s new with GoTrace?
Since our last product update, we continue to add new features and functionalities for our GoTrace platform. In this newsletter, we’ll highlight the latest GoTrace filtering, reporting, and data export capabilities for regulatory and carbon accounting reporting.
EUDR Compliance
GoTrace, the first EU Regulation on Deforestation-free products (EUDR) compliance solution powered by blockchain technology, streamlines and simplifies data collection, due diligence, and regulatory reporting processes for the latest EU deforestation, environmental, and sustainability regulations. With GoTrace, download your company’s EUDR compliance package in one-click!
GoTrace provides multiple ways to quickly and easily define, create, and share polygon data and location tract locations to six decimals for regulatory compliance. Additionally, hone your search via a multitude of filter options to include destination, time range, and type of product. Once finished, you can download all loads and corresponding origination locations in desired formats including geoJSON for EUDR compliance purposes. Each individual location has its own geoJSON file, and all load and location information are recorded in a csv file. This download is also available in KML format for any other mapping needs. GoTrace makes regulatory reporting easy, simple, convenient, and efficient.
Carbon Accounting
Did you know that you can also do carbon accounting reporting via GoTrace? Customizable load templates and our new one-click carbon reports make it easy to measure and account for carbon for compliance, corporate, voluntary carbon market, and other reporting purposes. This report includes a variety of calculations including moisture content as well as total monthly and biweekly dry tons and loads hauled. If you are using GoTrace to real-time track and trace your loads, the application automatically records the distance, resulting in more precise calculations and reporting. GoTrace empowers enterprises and organizations of all sizes to seamlessly track, report, and manage carbon impact with greater accuracy and ease.
Geospatial Mapping
We’re also working on some new geospatial information and mapping solutions, which build off of our existing mapping and polygon & location generation and management capabilities. These new integrated solutions will help our customers to further streamline workflows, enhance tract polygon as well as harvest stands & boundaries creation and definitions, facilitate compliance reporting processes, and to better mitigate against risks in forestry supply chains. More details to follow in our next update!
On the Road
Southern Forests
The team continues to be on the road conducting field work and supporting a variety of innovative customer initiatives and engagements, particularly in the beautiful southern US forests. We spent a considerable amount of time working in select tracts, partner mills, and manufacturing facilities. From digitizing supply chains, validating timber origination, managing harvest tracts, tracking truckloads, and supporting regulatory compliance and carbon reporting, we’re proud to collaborate with a remarkable network of enterprises, organizations, landowners, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Together, we’re advancing sustainability, driving innovation, and realizing greater community empowerment and new market opportunities throughout North America forestry product value chains.
