We’re extremely excited to announce our partnership with Charter Schools USA! We’re helping to bring advanced curriculum management to their schools.

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is one of the largest education management companies in the United States, managing high performing schools from K-12. They are a nationally recognized leader in education management. CSUSA is the first education management company in the nation to receive accreditation through AdvancEd. This designation assures that all schools opened and operated under CSUSA’s model will be accredited in the first year of operation. CSUSA manages 77 schools in seven states, serving 65,000+ students.

CSUSA is investing in our platform to easily build and distribute standards-guided curriculum maps to enable a consistent student learning experience year after year.

“We are always looking for new ways to improve academic performance and alignment with our curriculum.” says Andy Black, Director of Innovation at CSUSA. “With Chalk.com we’ve found a match — an innovative company that is committed to helping teachers and districts collaborate to deliver the best possible education. We want to empower teachers to move beyond simply inspiring the next generation, to truly advancing their skills and understanding in preparation for the future.”

CSUSA is expecting to roll out Chalk.com to all of its 77 schools across the United States for the 2016/17 school year. We are set to drive measurable improvements in classroom instruction to over 65,000 students in the coming years.

We have completed custom work to adapt our platform in order to better serve the unique needs of CSUSA teachers. Our customer success team has provided easy access to key decision makers within Chalk.com, enabling significant improvements within the workflows for CSUSA teachers.

CSUSA’s school leaders are engaged and willing to test innovations immediately, even before we’ve finished ironing out the kinks. They understand the software development life cycle, allowing iterative development and agile software development. Being able to work with such a large and distinguished education management company also provides us with the opportunity to make positive change on a large scale, which has been extremely rewarding.

We’re excited to continue working with CSUSA to roll out Chalk.com to the rest of their schools. As we continue to expand our product line, we are confident that CSUSA will be a crucial partner to ensure that we are solving education’s biggest problems.
