I paint the waiting canvas
magic miracles merge
invisible spirits whisper
promises preserve truth
serendipity spin ferris-wheel
would you rather believe
chains are not made of
silk and sponge

O’princess
to show up courage
spring and snow
promise peace
spice and sugar
essence adoration
when the mountains honor
risk and reason
leaving no escape
for any rage

the children in need
celebrate carol
laugh & lightning
wish from the
star-in-the-east
grant us perspective
to follow beauty

Thou’ superpower
read words of wisdom
to make this world
full of
balance and believe
inspiration and ascension
comfort and courage
move away from ambiguity
with no human felt squash

when trees don’t feel fever
and roots are not wrinkles
then a vague day shall come
away from the natural clique
and this casually-regal
prestidigitator
shall feel its painting

“A MASTER PIECE”

In response to Kathy’s wonderful project, accomodating every previous prompt to shape a humble prayer.

Words whizz around my mind and I engrave them into my writing…galvanising and rejuvenating thoughts each day…..
