Never Again

I believe I’ve attended my last reunion
I‘d been so hopeful too
Yet some things don’t change (like snark and gossip)
Even if we want them to.

Everyone knows how high school reunions are, it’s like grade school all over again unless you were one of the “cool” ones. Of course, my reunion was pre-COVID-19 or I’d be happy to have attended one at all.
