Pieces
Chalkboard’s One-Line Prompt “Piece”

Words — lie dormant
Sentence fragments, under layers of responsibilities
Alphabets of wisdom, creativity, and inspiration suffocate, buried under the weight of wet dirt and heavy rocks
She is hanging by a thread
She is literally being held together by PIECES of scotch tape, and quick fixes
Certainly no words can grow out of the mud without breathing room
A moment will happen though, a sunrise perhaps, an exciting thought, a vision of hope, a hug from the universe, something colorful of the sort. Yea that.
Then, she will take a breath, and the words will fiercely, rise again!
Waking up, she will pick up her PIECES, she will pick up her pen, and move forward with freedom carried by flowing airy waves of words
beautiful
colorful
present
dancing
words.
Thank you Anita Rajan for prompting me to wake up.
