words feel too small for this love: sisters by choice, not blood

Just a few of the amazing women I’m blessed to call my sisters.

I wrote this one-line poem in response to a prompt by Kathy Jacobs:

Personal note: It’s worth mentioning that I have many more sisters whom it’s unlikely I’ll ever be photographed with, including Kathy herself and our fellow Chalkboard editor Indira Reddy, and the many, many members of our online community. (I have no excuse for not being able to find a photo with another of my word sisters, Dewi — we catch up semi-regularly!)
