There is solace in words
Serenity in the interpreting
Strife, or love, or treason
Or pretentious (clearly meaningful) disdain

Energy finds the writer
To her it’s everything
Denying time, turned to oneself
Reactive with purpose

A purpose that can’t be logical
To write is irksome
If that hobby followed reason
No writer would write

Someone reads
And that was why, we reason
Your mind asked what
Only poetry could convey

Writing life needs a call
An eye that’s clear
And couldn’t waste anymore
time on unattractive scoff

Maybe I’m one
Writers, I think,
Don’t write poems
Poems find you

Poem Used
