Dawn surprises — overslept.
Frozen morning’s unwelcome.
Undercover? Emma slumbers.
Breakfast (ha) will be slow.
Punctual Earl’s not,
cow needs milking,
barn power’s out,
gloves missing,
hands freezing,
Sorry, Ms. Bessie!
