A Brief Overview — Challenges In Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is the on-demand, real-time delivery of resources such as data and storage to data servers managed remotely. This technology has proven to be groundbreaking in the IT business, with rapidly increasing market assets. Cloud development has proven to be useful not just to large public and private firms, but also to small businesses in terms of cost reduction. According to a recent anonymous report estimate, more than 94% of organisations will boost their cloud investment by more than 45% by the year 2025.
In the technological world, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, cloud technology was thriving. However, during the pandemic, when everything shifted to online and virtual, there was a sharp increase in cloud deployment and usage. Education impartment has moved online, remote work meetings are held on video conferencing platforms, and on-demand streaming applications have a huge audience, all of which have contributed to the great development. During such a tremendous upscaling, all of this becomes feasible only due to cloud computing. Regardless of whether we are an enterprise, student, developer, or someone who is significantly reliant on the cloud, we can safely assume that it is a crucial aspect of our lives today.
However, owing to this high dependency, we must also examine the customer concerns and issues that cloud computing poses. I have thus authored this series of blogs to shed some light on the challenges faced whilst opting for cloud computing and if possible, probable solutions for the presented challenges, they are as follows:

With Cloud Computing, people all across the globe have free access to resources such as services, apps, servers, computer networks and a plethora of data. However, despite the development and promise of cloud computing services, end-point users and organisations confront a number of obstacles.
Despite the numerous drawbacks of cloud computing, its benefits cannot be overstated. The use of cloud computing by enterprises of all kinds is rapidly increasing.
Cloud computing will become a universally acknowledged technological trend if the problems described above are handled and overcome appropriately. This is because business intelligence and the cloud were designed to work together in symphony. Cloud merely becomes a channel for accessing remote business intelligence apps, while business intelligence in return, sends accurate information to consumers and organizations.
Conclusively, we can infer that cloud computing provides a solid foundation for organisations to expand and succeed. However, we must exercise caution while implementing one. It is next to imperative to choose the service provider with caution, paying attention to their compliance standards and whether or not they have a plan in place to manage risks and weaknesses.
As Mr Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle Corporation has rightly said, “Cloud Computing is not only the future of computing but the present and the entire past of computing!”
