Nona Hungate

Nona is balancing on a metal abstract sculpture in a crouched position. Her left hand is holding onto the sculpture and her right is brushing her hair out of her face. She is laughing looking away at the camera and wearing a striped sweater and a jean skirt.

Nona Hungate is a performing artist and visual arts, enthusiast. Although she moved around a lot, she feels most attached to Arizona, where she hopes to return after college to work in environmental justice and policy. In high school, she made strides toward creating a more accessible theater community in her town and is now attempting to expand on her work at Stanford. She has used her acting skills to feign confidence and combat her imposter syndrome as she works with scientists and artists to communicate climate data to the public through the intersection of art and science.
