An artist first and foremost, Rima Makaryan aims to find and highlight beauty in everything deemed broken and unsalvageable. She taps into a variety of mediums, ranging from street art to film to writing, in order to best craft and tell beautiful but untold stories that she believes have the power to reshape our world. As such, her work has deep roots in activism as she uses art to generate social change across the globe- constantly traveling between New York, Armenia, and LA (and other spontaneous artistic pit stops.) Makaryan finds inspiration in the everyday and relishes every moment she is immersed in this short life.
