Apart from being the modern architectural marvel, it is also one of the prime tourist destinations in the world. Dubai Aquarium

It always has been one of the topmost and unique tourist attractions in Dubai. It has 140 species of marine life in a huge suspended tank inside Dubai Mall. You can visit the aquarium tunnels underneath in underwater zoo and watch the aquarium from downwards. Glass bottom boat tours and shark diving activities are some of the popular features of the place.

At 321m, it’s the world’s tallest hotel. It situated on its own artificial island along Dubai Coastline. It’s designed as a billowing Dhow Sail. It’s one of the most expensive hotels in the world. You can also sail around the Structure while sailing on a yacht charter. You will be astonished while visiting the underwater AL-MAHARA restaurant. The restaurant has glass walls to let you experience the floating marine life outside. You can also have the view of the city from the top while dining at SKYVIEW BAR at the 27th floor.

Jumeirah Beach

The beach is full of Sun loungers, cafes, restaurants and water sports facilities. It one of the most crowded and popular places in Dubai with numerous hotels situated along the beach. Just beside the beach, you can visit the 60-year-old Majlis Ghorfat Um-AL-Shelf (summer residence of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al-Maktoum). The structure has been restored with original constructions of gypsum and coral-block and has that old décor.

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

Wetlands and mangrove forest of Dubai Creek provide some unique natural views at Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s an important place for bird migration and majestic views of pink flamingos in winter. There are many secret prime spots within the park to watch the birds up close. Each year it also serves as breeding grounds for crustaceans, mammals, and fish. Some of the popular and notable species among the flamingos migrating here are great egrets, reef herons, spot grey herons, cormorants, , sandpipers, osprey, black-winged stilts and so much more.

Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa has become a landmark for Dubai. You can recognize Dubai by just the picture of the structure as it’s the tallest building in the world with a whopping 829.8 M height. Hence, when you visit Dubai you must have a trip to the observation deck of Burj Khalifa on the 124th floor. It will give you the birds eye view of the spectacular Dubai. You will be mesmerized by the Dubai skyline view from here. The observation deck also has a multimedia presentation on Dubai and Burj Khalifa. The elevator to the observation deck is also transparent which provides a 360-degree view of the city. Night visits are even special as you can see the City Lights and take panoramas. At the base of Burj khalifa you will also found the world’s tallest fountain which replicates Fountains of Bellagio from Las Vegas.

Dubai Mall

It’s the prime Mall for the city of Dubai and has an entrance for Burj Khalifa and Dubai Aquarium. For entertainment, it houses cinema complex, gaming zones, ice skating rink and many other services. The place frequently houses some special events and the options for shopping and eating is endless. Some of the most famous events here are “Dubai Shopping Festival” and “Dubai Summer Surprises”. It also houses the famous and exotic Dubai Aquarium.

Dubai Museum

Dubai Museum is situated at Al Fahidi Fort which was created in 1787. The fort was built traditionally by Coral-Blocks and was fixed with lime. Wooden poles have supported the upper floor and the palm fronds, mud, and plaster have been used to construct the ceiling. The fort was restored in 1971 and was turned into city’s Prime Museum. The entrance has some of the old maps of Emirates and Dubai. It also picturizes the expansion of the region after the oil boom. Several traditional boats and palm leaf houses are displayed in the courtyard along with an Emirati wind tower. The left hall displays Emirati Musical Instruments and Right hall features Weaponry. It even houses 4000-year-old artifacts.

Sheikh Saeed AL-Maktoum House

It was the house of the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum and was rebuilt as a museum for Arabian architecture. It still incorporates the original model of carved teak doors, gypsum ventilation screens, and wooden lattice screens. There are thirty rooms around the central courtyard and the wind tower details are presented on the top. The structure exhibits some of the mesmerizing photographs of old Dubai. There is also a marine wing in the structure which has old photos of a fisherman, fishing activities, pearl trades, and boat building

Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek is in the middle of Deira and Bur Dubai. The villages around the creek were established 400 years ago when it attracted settlers for fishing and pearl diving. The old dhows of which some are 100 years old are anchored here. It’s still used by small traders to sail in the Persian Gulf. You can take a stroll here and still experience the vibes of that old trading town. With some friendly connections, you can also sail with the traders on their traditional boats. The Bur Dubai side has the Bastakia neighborhood and the waterfront which has been regenerated as AL SEEF District. It also has a promenade along the waterfront backed by traditional coral-block and limestone building. This place also has a Floating Market and shops selling crafts. It’s a beautiful place with stunning water views. You can take a ferry or dhow to sail around the place.

Bastakia

The place was built in the 19th century for affluent Persian merchants who traded pearls and textiles. The essence of the place is in its preservation of the old heritage buildings with coral and limestones walls. Almost all the buildings here have a wind tower which acted as air conditioning to the houses. The lanes and corridors of the area will make you feel the ambiance of the Arabian night’s tales. The place also has a Majlis Gallery with traditional Arabic arts and crafts.

Jumeirah Mosque

It’s said to be one of the most beautiful mosques of Dubai and the world. It’s one of the finest examples of Islamic Architecture. The structure has been built in medieval Fatimid Tradition. When it’s lit with floodlights in the evening, it looks absolutely stunning.

Deira

Deira is situated on the northern bank of Dubai Creek and the streets showcase a mix of various nationalities that have been living in Dubai. Deira shore displays ancient dhows and has modern structures as a backdrop. It has the most famous traditional souks with a crowd of shoppers at all times. It also has the largest gold market in the world. It also houses Deira Spice souks with all kinds of spices from the world. Heritage house and Al-Ahmadiya School in Dubai is also situated in the same place.

Dubai Frame

It’s a huge 150 M high picture frame situated around the creek. Inside the frame, there are several galleries displaying heritage of Emirates and history of Dubai. When you reach at the Sky deck you will be enthralled with the beautiful panoramic views of old and new Dubai.

Heritage and Diving Village

Heritage and Diving village has the best displays of the architectural and cultural heritage of Dubai through pearl Diving and Dhow-Building. The place also has recreations of coastal village life and Bedouin communities. The Persian homes, traditional coffeehouses, and small handicrafts souk is among the main attractions of the place.
