The question of, “What are we doing for society?” is one that has many sides. It’s also a question that has many depths and layers, simply based on how one chooses to answer. However, there are times when that answer isn’t so simple — and it’s getting increasingly difficult to find it.

Society has the unrelenting power of blinding us with violence, uncertainty, and fear behind every headline that we read. The real power buried underneath that is finding ways to turn tragedy into triumph and fear into strength.

It may seem like society is doing everything it can to make us doubt ourselves, as well as faith in humanity. We then question society itself and everything that is to follow. When that happens, the question no longer is, “What has society done for me?” It instead becomes, “What have I done — or what can I do — for society?”

With that in mind, the editorial team at GMP asks: What do YOU do to contribute to the betterment of society? What choices or changes have you made in your own life that affect or reflect the bigger picture?

It’s time to let your voice be heard.
