Nobody, unless they become a hermit, lives alone. We are part of society and connected to the people who live with us. This means that the consequences of our actions are not limited to ourselves alone, as they also affect the people who, in one way or another, are part of our journey.

Therefore, we cannot act solely for our own purposes, disregarding everyone else, as if our well-being were the only goal to be achieved. If we hurt those who are by our side in order to obtain what we want, we are acting recklessly and selfishly, which should be avoided.

However, it is necessary to find a way to fulfill our dreams and live according to what we believe in, in an ethical and dignified manner, without deviating from it all, or we will never be happy. Especially if we suffocate our desires out of fear of disapproval from those who disagree with our way of thinking and acting.

Listening to and considering the advice of those who truly love us will always be necessary, because then we will be dealing with words coming from people who care and want the best for us.
