- get yourself a bomb-ass bachelorette pad and make it feel like home.
- listen to the music that gives you all the feels. and just cry it out. and then you will love the music again.
- practice saying “yes” to the universe when before you would say no. it’s a wonder the new opportunities this will open up for your new life.
- find healthy rituals that make you feel good. dancing, running, practicing musical instruments, drawing, painting, coloring, decorating, DIY, hiking, cooking, meditation, etc. whatever it is, create a regular ritual to have things to look forward to.
- stay up all night sometimes with friends. you’ll be tired the next day but the memories will be so worth it.
- throw away all of your old underwear (including “period” underwear, ladies) and buy all new sexy stuff. you deserve to wear the sexy stuff all the time.
- in the same vein as #6, buy yourself beautiful lingerie or loungewear. walk around the house in it when no one is home. sleep in it alone.
- allow people to give you compliments. learning how to simply accept a compliment and let someone tell you you are good or beautiful is difficult for a lot of people. learn to accept one once in a while.
- love yourself where before you hated yourself. i spent a lifetime hating myself and the second i decided to start loving myself…my body, my flaws, my habits…i have been 1000% happier.
- surround yourself with people who inspire you and make you laugh. you can’t go wrong with this one.
