Something New: Introducing the Pro-Human Party.

i don’t consider myself ‘on the left’ of human rights.

i don’t consider humankind to be split evenly down the middle of some imaginary line.

at a bare minimum, we are all merely mortal. humans.

there are certain unalienable rights held by all humans as a birthright. these come before any laws or constitutions. you’re either pro-rights or you’re anti-rights. pro-human or anti-human. which are you?

in the context of this particular issue, your political team doesn’t matter, yo. i personally am pro-rights for all humans who have survived birth into this world. and i’m also an unabashed optimist. who has extreme ADHD. and who likes to channel this energy into philosophy, strategy, solutions and creativity.

thus, i propose we try a new way of thinking about all of this.

allow me to explain.

it is the great equalizer, this condition of humanity. there are no exceptions to the right to live and the right to access things needed to thrive (not just survive). i think most people are pro human rights.

exactly when did we get stuck in this old-construct of thinking that our opinions and personal responsibilities are confined to the political sphere on a party-loyalty basis?

so instead of tearing down the old system, let’s try something new: let’s create a new party founded on the basis of celebrating good things that bring us together. think about that for a moment. next, happy dance — we’re together! anyone who is pro human rights is in the party.

anyone who thinks that there are some humans who don’t deserve human rights…welp, you are at another party. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we will of course welcome you here if you change your minds, and we fight for your human rights as well. ultimately we know that you are actually in our party (there really is only one) but you are afraid and need compassion and love and a new frequency that works for you. and guess what?

we hear you. we see you. what you feel matters to us.

we are here to lift you up. the pro-human party greets the anti-human party with love and compassion. let us take this new party line of interconnection and build it up as a highway.

we can build together from here. wipe the personal voting records and talking points of the past clear. how exciting to hold a vision for the future that is so fresh and new and free from baggage?
