10 Tiny Gratitude Habits
Here’s how I rewired my mindset with 10 daily gratitude habits — and how you can too.
Somebody asked me recently: “What’s the tiniest thing I can do to change my life?”
The answer came out like a pistol: practice gratitude.
If that sounds cheesy to you, I get it.
I remember when I first read about all the studies proving that gratitude makes you happier, less stressed, more fulfilled — even physically healthier.
I thought ‘really’?
But I wanted — or maybe even desperately needed — benefits so I gave it a try.
Every evening, I’d sit down and list three things I was grateful for.
It felt… awkward. Repetitive. Forced. I was just saying the same things over and over and didn’t feel much.
But everything shifted when I stopped treating gratitude like a box to check, and instead began weaving it into the small moments of my day.
I did it often and stuck with it.
And over time, something beautiful happened:
My brain started changing (literally — thank you, neuroplasticity).
Where I used to scan for what was wrong, I now saw what was good.
