I’m not the biggest fan of veggies, but I realize it’s essential to get the greens in. My body and mind perform at higher levels when I’m intaking my veggies consistently. My skin looks better, my energy levels reach their peak, and I feel better. Who doesn’t like to feel good? Eating an oreo cookie makes me feel better, too, but not as good and lasting as a handful of spinach does.

Six ways I get in veggies more consistently include the following actions:

  1. Take a greens supplement.
  2. Eat a veggie with every single meal.
  3. Ensure veggies are added to my multivitamin.
  4. Implement veggies in all of my meals when I cook them.
  5. Eat a serving of veggies before I consume my primary meal.
  6. Throw in large handfuls of spinach in my blended protein smoothies.

My favorite one is eating the veggies first before consuming the meal; this exercise is good practice for those who loathe veggies with a passion. Get the worst part of the meal over with first instead of delaying it; that way, you always accomplish the goal of eating more veggies.

Doing these things or a mix of these activities keeps the greens an active part of my diet. When I have more veggies in my life, my health tends to be better.

When you feel better, you live better.
