A Chilling Quote by Dr. Joe Dispenza That Makes the Hairs on the Back of My Neck Stand up
It also inspired me to change my ways
A few years ago, I ended up with an inflamed gut.
I was drinking three cups of coffee a day, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, eating processed foods, not speaking my truth, and putting other people’s needs ahead of my own.
It’s easy to look back now and say that nothing was going to change if I didn’t change but I didn’t know that at the time. I just thought that if I wanted something badly enough it would happen.
Around this time I heard Dr. Joe Dispenza say something that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up:
“You are continuously keeping your life the same because you are keeping your attention (thoughts) and your energy (feelings) the same.”
No one had said it so simply or casually before. To him, it was as easy as saying the grass is green but to me it was groundbreaking.
I somehow felt like my friend after she had been diagnosed with ADHD. Before her diagnosis, she thought she was crazy. No one had explicitly told her as much but no one had given her a reason for the way she experienced life. So, she put two and two together.
