Life is hectic, and stress can come in many forms.

However, the truth is stress doesn’t come from your manager, kids, spouse, family members, Twitter trolls, traffic jams, or other circumstances. Instead, stress generally comes from your thoughts about your circumstances.

According to mentalhealth.org — Stress is the feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure. And our minds tend to play tricks on us, increasing the pressure.

These pressures can grow exponentially, especially during holidays.

Take Christmas, for example. What gets dubbed the “Happiest time of the year” with the traditional Mariah Carey “All I want for Christmas is you” song and other classics playing nonstop. The good cheer and warm fuzzy feelings are ubiquitous; however, someone somewhere is thinking of killing themself.
