A Passing Thought

Why do some people feel entitled to judge others on account of their ‘sanctimony?’

Why are the ‘so-called pious people’ always under close surveillance by the ‘common folks’? If the pious walk staunchly on the path of their creedal beliefs, they are mocked for their inexpediency, and termed idiots.

If they do something aligned with the actions of the latter group, their religiosity gets immediately questioned.

Why this hypocrisy? Why this need to compartmentalize the world into black and white shades? Why do some people feel entitled to judge others on account of their ‘sanctimony?’
