Have you noticed that there are more and more companies and apps dedicated to putting faster and easier home-cooked meals on your table? Meal prep delivery services realize that the average person wants to eat well and provide food for their family, but also has less and less time to do it.

To ensure that cooking meals for yourself and your family are a less stressful and time-consuming process I created this simple guide. I will explain how best to plan your meals as well as suggest a few tips on how to have your weekly shopping and cooking experience run a little bit smoother.

Some of the benefits of following this plan include saving money, reducing waste, eating better, and eating earlier in the evening.

  1. Choose a planning day. One day of the week should be dedicated to planning your dinners. Set aside an hour to look at recipes and assign a meal to each day of the coming week. If you want to simplify things further, plan to cook the same meal twice or even three different times that week. The day that works best for me is Sunday as it is the beginning of the week.
