Spring is here and with it comes the gentle push of greenery against the remains of winter, wild and persistent.

For our family, the advent of spring is not just a shift in the weather; it’s our cue to dust off our foraging baskets, grab our boots, and head to the nearby forest where the earth’s gifts begin to awaken.

Among the first to spread its fragrant leaves is our personal favorite — wild garlic.

This is more than a culinary expedition; it’s a tradition and a celebration of life’s simple joys I’d love to share with you today.

There’s nothing better than heading out to the forest together with my kids looking for sprouting wild garlic. For me, spring hasn’t started if I didn’t drag my kids out for this activity.

Let’s embark on a delightful spring adventure, exploring the process of foraging for wild garlic with your loved ones, and preparing for a charming meal that nourishes both body and soul.

This is a super family-friendly and budget-friendly activity also food enthusiasts and nature lovers should be eager to explore!

Spring is here, let’s reconnect with the great outdoors.
