Are The Swooping Magpies Also In Lock Down?

The once spring-marauding birds, seem to be relaxed, and at peace with their world, just as things used to be.

I was walking today, when it occurred to me that it’s almost the end of magpie season, which runs roughly from late August until early October, here in Canberra.
