Build This Mindset When It Feels Like Life Makes No Sense
As human beings, it is our natural instinct to fight in times when life makes no sense.
Two years ago when I was going through one of the hardest phases of my life, everything seem so unfair to me. The feeling was like — nothing made any sense, and to be honest, it was some hard pill to digest.
No matter what I have done, or whatever I have planned for life none of them was going in my way. It was all completely out of control. The only thing I have been experiencing back then was bad stuff. So, you know what — I can understand how it feels to go through a phase when life makes no sense.
The more we grow, the more we can connect to this sentence. Sometimes it feels like life was way better when we were kids. No worries, no tension about the future or making money, nothing.
But you can not let this feeling eat you up on a daily basis. You need to do something to sort it out and erase the pain from your life. And for that, you have to go to the base, from where it all started. This will give you an understanding of the whole scenario.
Why do we feel like life makes no sense?
Life is hard and you can not do anything about that. You may set a plan or a checklist to do certain things in a particular phase of your life, but it can never happen. And that is the exact time when life makes no sense. We plan something and work accordingly but still that never works out. This is what gives a feeling of a life that makes no point to you.
It is your desire to control everything in life, that makes you end up feeling miserable every time. For instance — if you take a kid and put him/her in a miserable situation, all they will try is to get out of that. But if we put an adult in the exact same situation all it will do is keep thinking ( how pointless his life is) instead of taking any action.
What can we do to remove the feeling
You get to know the root cause and I do feel you have a certain idea now of what to do — right? If you do not yet have any idea then let me give you my own perspective, what I did in my hard days to delete that feeling of emptiness.
The principles I used and also currently use are living every moment of life to the fullest without thinking too much about it and sticking to the end, fighting life with a no-quit mentality.
Both are not easy and took me months to apply them actually in life. I know there time comes when these all make no sense to anyone but when it does make sense apply them.
Two years ago when the doctor told me that my mother had 1year to live, all I was thinking — no matter what happen I will fight to the end, for her. And from that, every moment I spent with her was like the last day of her life. Does not matter how small an event was — I made sure we enjoy it to the fullest. And that gave me happiness. Helped me to get out of the rut of feeling like life makes no sense.
I have shared some secrets of my life. But if it helps others, I have no issue with that.
