Walking isn’t only a way to burn extra calories and is great for doing your inner work
I cannot speak highly enough when it comes to walking.
I walk all the time and would do so even more if I wasn’t chained to my desk working from Monday to Friday.
When I work from home, I enviously observe the lucky humans who are out and about, headphones on, the sun shining on their skin and breathing in the fresh air.
Previously, walking was a means for me to study and listen to audiobooks, and it was one of the best ways to keep increasing my learning capacity and step count.
Since sitting is the new smoking — I aim to get out of the house or office several times a day — permitting my schedule.
In saying that, I don’t let anything get in the way of my walking schedule.
It’s my time, sacred and necessary for mental health more than anything.
Some advice I was given resonated quite well with me.
