Dare Them to Stop You from Thriving
They caught my eyes and caused me pause; happy yellow flowers were growing out of a stone wall.
I took some snaps because it was such a beautiful sight, both literally and figuratively.
It could not be easy for these flowers to grow in a place where there is hardly any soil to anchor them or to provide nutrients for growth, yet they found a foot hold, or better said, a root hold and have grown and thrived, and are now flowering.
There are often times when society has little expectation of us; we come from circumstances where we were never expected to survive, much less thrive, but we find something to hold on to, and to believe in; so much so that we grow and we bloom in spite of it all.
