Got Climate Change Anxiety? That’s Just a Symptom of Being Human
Ecological empathy is precisely the solution we need.
International failure at nearly every climate target summit. A whole generation of industrialists who chose to ignore science. Collective public indifference.
It’s a stark contrast to the doom and gloom messaging that scientists have been screaming at the top of their lungs, for decades.
So no wonder we’re caught in the middle, not knowing which way to swing.
- Do we join the activists, some of which go so overboard that they turn to eco-terrorism and accelerationism to force people awake?
- Or do we cope with the ignorance of the masses by similarly turning our heads down, ignoring the suffering we’ll face in old age?
Regardless of what we personally choose, we are no doubt left with a lingering anxiety.
I’m only one person. These issues are so huge, not even whole organizations got their heads wrapped around them enough to address them.
As the list of failed international conferences piles up, the height of the ice caps shrinks. The clock ticks, 150 species are wiped off the planet each day.
