Hey I’m Good, How are You?

“Hey”

“Hey how are you?”

“I’m good how are you?”

  • Fine
  • Not bad
  • Good

How many mornings do we start with interactions like that. What’s the point?

So I asked a coworker how his weekend trip to NYC was.

He said it was alright.

Then I asked him what would I have to ask or say that his response would be really gets him OMG it was UNREAL/RAD/DYNAMITE/INCREDIBLE/I DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE.

And he said, Sara, honestly i don’t know.

That moves me. It makes me sad. I want to help him ask these questions and figure out what makes him happy! I told him to think about it and let me know by the end of the week.

What does it say about our society that a 24 year old post graduate guy has NOTHING exciting to say about life. What do you get out of bed every morning for and go to sleep every night for? These are all the questions constantly running through my head that I have trouble turning off and trying to get something else done. But that other people have never even considered.

I want to ASK those questions. Get people THINKING about their answers… or lack of.

We all deserve to be lit up daily by who, what, where, when, and why that makes us happy. It just might take someone like me to help you realize that your life can be anything you make it to be.

Much, much love

Sara
