Nietzsche said a man’s maturity is “regaining the seriousness that he had as a child at play”.

I thought that was pretty interesting.

So I bought a Kalimba (as you do).

It’s an inexpensive, easy-to-play instrument that sounds somewhere between a wind-chime and a xylophone.

I’ve been fiddling around with it for a few months and it's become one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Here’s why:

Unique creative outlet

Who do you know that plays the kalimba?

I’d guess nobody.

Besides being a great narcissistic conversation starter that will interest everybody, it also serves as a great outlet for creativity — something you likely lack.
