I was devastated. I was broken.

It happened in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. And like many people, my life changed on a dime.

I was out of job, money was tight, and my worries loomed. The weight of financial struggles was too heavy to carry, but I didn’t let it crush me. I found ways to cope, both physically and mentally.

When life has a tight grip on us, we tend to wait for the storm to pass before trying to return to normal. But somehow, I resisted that temptation. I realized I could do better. Instead of waiting for the storm to pass, I found a way to ride with the storm. On tough days, instead of whining about my situation, I focused on learning things I could do in my spare time.

As I dug deeper into myself, I tried to find escape through things that brought me joy. It was in those dark moments that I discovered my love for writing. Since I had a laptop and an internet connection, I started to write. This was the time when I threw myself fully into it. The more I wrote, the more I wanted to write. Writing felt like a drug I couldn’t resist. And I’ve been writing online ever since.
