How Lack Of Sleep Might Dent Your Weight Loss Results
If you are dieting right now, cutting back on sleep is probably the worst thing you can do
My doctor was right when she said it’s better to cut out exercise for a day than sleep.
I initially thought she was stark raving mad for saying that.
I mean, it’s not like she knows how important lifting weights and being active is. It’s not just about weight loss — but mental health too.
Truth be known, I don’t listen to my doctor when it comes to sleep. So I don’t know what else to sacrifice to get my workout in.
I can’t exactly tell my boss I would prefer to start at 10 am and then finish at 5 pm.
I can’t expect my shower to happen alone — or school lunch, food prep and feeding my animals.
So I guess, like any other mum, losing sleep is the only thing left, and it’s guilt-free.
That might be the case, but the lack of zzz’s comes with a cost — not just for the one who wants to lose weight, but for all of us attempting to have some quality of life.
