I used to sit by myself a lot in the past. The more time I spent in quiet, the more I wanted to be alone. I used to say that when you sit alone, you get to listen to yourself. But now, after more than seven days of ‘screen break’, I have come to a new conclusion.

I now think, that when you sit alone, you get to listen to the silence of your heart. The eternal peace that was placed within all of us by God or whoever created the world. I think the purpose of our lives is to touch that peace. To experience that pure silence, not just once in a while, not just in spiritual books, but every day.

More than three years back, I made the decision to quit my job, freelancing and my dream of becoming the best copywriter in the world. I was so sure that I wanted to be a copywriter. So sure that if I try harder, I will also start making $10,000 every month like every other freelancer was doing.

Though, despite all my efforts, things were not moving for me as I expected them to. I did everything that the ‘influencers’ recommended but somehow, I ended up with more disappointments. I was so burned out, and exhausted that I decided to QUIT…
