How to Stay Open to Synchronicities and Surprises From The Universe
A few weeks ago, I was running late for an appointment, sprinting through the streets, coffee in one hand and a dangerously tilted umbrella in the other.
On my way, I passed an old bookshop I hadn’t noticed before. You know, the kind with dusty windows and that inexplicable glow, as though it’s housing secrets. I stopped in my tracks. Something told me to go inside.
I had no time for detours, but the pull was magnetic. So, against my better judgment (and the ticking clock), I ducked in.
Within minutes, I was flipping through a stack of old books when a note, tucked between two pages, fell out.
It read: “Trust the detours.”
That note stopped me cold.
Halfway through a chaotic morning, the Universe winked at me.
Synchronicities don’t show up with flashing neon lights.
They are discrete.
They’ll appear in the lyrics of a song that plays at the right moment, a chance meeting with someone who shifts your perspective, or a note in a dusty bookshop.
If you’re too busy rushing, controlling, or overthinking, you might miss them entirely.
