I live in a city that is in the top ten most polluted cities in the world. It would be healthier to inhale smoke from a chimney than take a long deep breath in the Delhi air.

Pollution is at its peak at this time of the year. The AQI (Air Quality Index) as I am writing this is 396. The highest level of AQI is 500, so you can imagine how much toxic air I am inhaling every day.

The visibility here is a joke. Just this morning I wasn’t able to see the apartments right across from me because of smog. The situation is so dire that the state government has decided to close down the schools for a week till the air quality is a bit better.
