Or tactics.
I have witnessed friends who threatened to resign for a 10% raise. Some would throw the resignation card to “salvage” a missed promotion.
I am not here to argue for or against the ethics of their tactics. It doesn’t bother me that much.
But this is what I want to say.

The situation
I know both.
The senior manager. The team lead.
