I didn’t just fail.
I failed miserably.
She has been out of work for 9 months. She walked out of probation [lasting 3 months] twice. She is still shopping around.
This is the situation my cousin described.
“I would like her to meet you. Maybe you can talk some sense into her? Her expectations will bury her alive.”
In truth, I wasn’t too excited to meet Shiyuan. I would have better conversations with other folks. But my cousin pleaded. It’s her friend. It matters.
