I was 20 when I realized, seven years ago, that any external stimulus was driving me insane. It took me this long to realize this because I had convinced myself that living in a congested city would be difficult and unpleasant. However, when I looked around, I noticed that most people were more at ease than I was. I’d trained myself to walk on a thin rope.
We label people with HSP as “extremely sensitive” in society because they are overly sensitive to physical, social, and mental stimuli. These people have high sensory processing sensitivity and can process any subject thoroughly. HSP frequently causes a person to feel more tired, sick and stressed than is necessary. When a person is exposed to a lot of information, it becomes a matter of survival rather than living life. As a result, HSPs require more self-care than other people.
In this article, I am the case. I have been observing the effects of HSP on my social life for years. I know how being overly sensitive makes life difficult.
