Your diet plays a big role in your life and insulin sensitivity. A lot of “healthy foods” cause your glucose levels to go mad. Your biggest enemies are processed foods high in fructose, corn syrup and refined sugar.

Foods to avoid

Breakfast cereals

They are the easiest choice for breakfast, combined with any kind of milk, but this combination is very bad for you and your child. They contain high amounts of sugar and additives, and they are everything opposite to the claims on their labels.

Most breakfast cereals contain 25 grams of sugar per 100 grams. Keep in mind, no one eats a serving size of them, which is 30 grams. The daily recommended intake of sugar for women is 25 grams, for men 35 grams, and for children 9 grams.

Fries

They are rich in carbs, and fats, and they will spike your blood sugar levels through the roof. Combined with ketchup or any other sauce that is rich in sugar will challenge your organism to try to balance out your blood sugar levels. They will delay the absorption of glucose for some period of time.

Potatoes are good, but fries are not!
