The North Carolina morning sun slowly burns the fog away. Spring is here. I see brown bushy squirrels run along fences, bright red cardinals chirp to the grey-chested wrens, and tulips, magnolias, rhododendrons, and pine trees pop yellow, green, pink, and white.
Still, I have this sinking feeling that something is holding me back from enjoying this moment.
