Nature’s Love
Day #32: 100 Happy Days
A little over two years ago, my husband proposed to me for marriage in Roosevelt Park — a beautiful lush green park with a pond, ducks, flowers, and lots of serenity. I would have visited the park several times after it (maybe even over hundred), and every time I go, it is surreal.
At Roosevelt park, I stroll in the grass, hear the water flow, hear different bird sounds, pick random things like dropped flowers or tree balls, and enjoy the warmth of the sun. The pure air and calmness mesmerizes me. I didn’t realize what magic this has until a year ago. Staying in the cities and working for an outcome made me blind to the everyday surprises nature has to offer. There is something about the park apart from saying yes to a partnership for life.
I allow myself to flow.
When I am there everything seems okay.
Heart feels okay.
Today felt okay.
And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
